Witness to Murder by Jill Elizabeth Nelson
I have been a fan of Jill Elizabeth Nelson for quite a while now, ever since reading her To Catch a Thief series, so I jumped at the chance to be an influencer for Witness to Murder.
TV reporter, Hallie Berglund is on her way to an interview when she walks in on a murder scene with a man still hovering over the victims body, a victim who happens to be wearing a bracelet that Hallie's long deceased mother crafted, on another continent. Hallie is drawn into this case in more than one way, as the eye witness, her mother's bracelet on the victim, and the fact that her co-worker, Brody Jordan is insistant that the "assailant" is innocent. All complications that intrigue the reporter in Hallie to dig down and find the truth, plunging her deep into danger. Could the real killer still be at large?
Brody Jordan on the other hand has one reason to find the truth. He knows beyond a shadow of a doubt there is no way Damon Lange commited that murder, no matter what Hallie says. He knows Damon too well, and while the boy may be a hot head, he wouldn't hurt a woman, for any reason. Leaving Brody with one option, to team up with Hallie to find the real killer and answer all the questions that this murder has opened. How did the victim get the bracelet that was made by Hallie's mother? If Damon isn't the killer, who is?
Jill Elizabeth Nelson has worked her magic once again, incorperating suspense, intrigue, love, and God to make a fantastic read.
